Green Party Women invite you to an unmissable event
police spies out of women's lives!
Tuesday, 21 June at 7.00 pm

Helen Steel, environmental activist, McLibel campaigner and feminist, who was deceived into a relationship with an undercover cop, will be "In Conversation" with Jenny Jones, Green Party peer and campaigner against the Police Bill.  Joining them will be Elise Benjamin, a former City Councillor and current GPW Membership Secretary, who will reflect on her own experiences of Spycops.

Helen is the author, with four other women, of the recently published book, "Deep Deception" (Ebury Press) News from Nowhere which tells the story of their struggle to uncover the truth about the police officers who tricked them into intimate relationships.  It lays bare the shocking level of state interference with democracy and the callous disregard for the emotional devastation resulting from this institutional sexism.

All are welcome to join us.  Please register in advance to attend by zoom.
