This month, we are celebrating all our wonderful members who are working hard to secure Green votes in the general elections. As part of this celebration Green Party Women are featuring some of the women who are standing as parliamentary candidates for the Green Party. First up is The Green Party of England and Wales very own Health, Social Care & Public Health Spokesperson, Pallavi Devulapalli.

Pallavi is the parliamentary candidate (PPC)for Southwest Norfolk in the 2024 General Election. She is also a practicising NHS GP, Borough Councillor for Airfield ward, KLWNBC, a CPRE Norfolk Trustee and Chair of Shouldham Community Orchard Group.

Pallavi has been campaigning for:

  • Proper funding for our NHS – including rebuilding the QEH
  • Reforming the dental contract so that we are not a ‘dental desert’

If elected, she will continue to do this and will:

  • Oppose polluting industrial factory farms
  • Promote rooftop solar and home insulation
  • Ask for support for farmers to enable change to sustainable farming practices
  • Demand better bus and train connectivity
  • Demand an end to sewage leaks in our rivers and seas, and support nationalisation of our water supplies
  • Support local businesses
