Green Party Women Book Club

In April, we’re going to read Everyone Knows Your Mother is a Witch by Rivka Galchen
The Plague is spreading. The Thirty Years War is beginning. Katharina Kepler is believed to be a witch. Known for her herbal remedies and successful children – among them Johannes, Imperial Mathematician and author of the laws of planetary motion – Katharina’s life is changed by an accusation of witchcraft. Facing financial ruin, torture and even execution, she tells her side of the story.
Book club is a friendly, informal club. All members of Green Party Women are welcome and there’s no obligation to have finished (or even to have read!) the book. You can still come along and enjoy the conversation.
Green Witchers, our friendly birding club
April 16, 2024 (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Our birding (and more!) club is back and will again be hosted by Anne and will focus on the tension between supporting green energy and supporting wildlife and wildlife habitats.
